Battery Life / Playing Music

I'm considering getting an MP3 basically just for long car rides. If the CLIE battery last long enough while playing music, maybe I'll just use it to play music. So I'd like to know approximately, how long it can play music for non-stop in the HOLD position and how long the battery is supposed to last while playing movies? I may get a car power adapter, but I wanted to see how long the battery life is.

With the hold switch on you should be able to get around 9 hours+ of music playing. But with the hold switch off it lasts only about 3-4 hours. Hope this helps.

Or you could get a cheap car adapter to charge your Clié in the car and then never worry about battery life.
