Does anyone know how to program Hotsync so it does a hotsync by itself. Like at a specific time of the day?

Alarm on wristwatch......finger press hotsync button on cradle......bam!

Lol! Sorry, couldn't resist. In all seriousness, I know I have seen some third party app do this. Let me try and look around and see if I can find it again. Somone will probably post it before I get back to you...... :D

Why not just set Backup Buddy or a similar app to schedule backups??

Thanx MiG but I'm looking for is an automated app. I'd like to get up in the morning and go without having to hotsync and wait.

I use Macroplay for this and it works brilliantly. Set up a macro at either a pre-defined time or after an event like a reset or a hotsync and it will perform this automagically for you. :)

Find it here: MacroPlay (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=81929 )

Additonally, I use another little app called AfterSync (http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2004-27,GGLD:en&q=aftersync) to return my Ux's view to my 'Today view' in Agendus when it's done hotsynching so I can see what's goin' on for the day.

Hello...

I just read your email and thought I'd contribute. There's a program called: "Less Than Zero" that you can program to perform a hotsync at a designated time. I'm not sure where I got it from but I do know that it was free! Try performing a search for "Less Than Zero software for palm" to see what you come up with.

Let me know if you're successful! If you need help on how to get it working contact me!

Find it here: Less Than Zero (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&PartnerREF=&siteid=1&prodID=8246 )

It doesn't say anything about support for OS5 so use it at your own risk and back that thang up.

Hey Crazy_Smeggie...

Thanks for providing a link to the software! By the way... it does function with systems that run OS5... I currently use it on my UX50!

I should aslo take this opportunity to thank you for the AfterSync software. I downloaded it last night and it's great!
