The Softick PP (USB version) (http://www.softick.com/ppp/) is probably what you are looking for.

Hope it helps.

It could be. Try to email the developers letting them know the problems you're having.

Also please keep us posted on their response, so people encountering similar problems will know how to handle them.

Thanks!

Actually, I was able to connect softick using Windows XP and my NX70V Clie (getting timeout errors at the begining). Now Í'm connected but if I go to avantgo or ICQ for palm, I get timeouts there, does anybody succeded and was able to surf the web with this great program?

I would suggest you work out the name of your modem.
Then try a search in this forum or Google..exe files is for mswindows, but some files on the cd are sometimes used in ndiswrapper, where the driver for your modem will be located.

This is kinda late,
In the past 5 years I have moved to Linux, found a solution to the problem, bought a NX80V and broke it by now. And planning to get a Nokia N810 since Clie is kinda dead.

This might be one of the oldest bumping I ever saw.

(first in pc)

find the program softic ppp ans instal in your pc
and enable proxi to usb, (default options)

to detect the palm the xp need a driver, Clhs00da.inf ,clieusbe.cat, PalmUSBD.inf, PalmUSBD.sys, (in the directory C:\Archivos de programa\Sony Handheld\USB_Driver)

this files are contained in palm desktop or hotsinc, for clie.

wen detect te palm (connected in the usb u select these directory and install automatic the palm,)

softic ppp work directly to usb, but i tink can change to wifi , ir, or bluetoth if have the card.

finish in the pc, go to palm ... =)

take settings <-- in quick lauch

Pref (time and system settings)

select in menu Network

in service take Windows ras.
username and pass not is necesary don touch,,

and in connection take Cradle/cable, if u have wifi card or bluthoth card select here..

in details-- in idle timeout , change 1 min to never

this option disconect automatic in a minute, not is good , conecta and keep the conection :)

all internet aplication ask if need connect , and connect automatic, msn , explorers etc. :D

try to use google maps :D
