Tapwave, it has one big screen (a DS of its own, Double the Size of the DS's screens, roughly), which of course is touch screen. However, the DS has a better library of games being able to play older GB/GBC/GBA games, but they are equal in games that really take advantage of whats offered up for use in each device.

The DS is basically a pocket Nintendo 64 so it has the better graphics of the two. I actually like using touch screen gaming on the Palm when you can touch the whole screen. The split screen design Nintendo uses just seems gimmicky not to mention they are a 3D gaming system without an analog controller. Zod has them beat there.

I'm actually shocked by the early success of the DS. I had one and sold it immediately. I am a huge life long fan of Nintendo, but the DS is a crappy piece of hardware with some of the worst launch games I have every played. I'll take the Zod anyday.

Once the PSP gets rolling I expect it to crush the DS in the US. The Japanese like quirky gadgets so the DS may find a home there.

I agree. the zod is well designed and more user friendly. It is multimedia capable and can have a ton of games without having 100 cartriges or whatever. Provided you havw a big SD card. Plus it cango on the internet and act as an alarm cloak and wha else. Basically it is almost like a handheld held Alienware OS, well kinda of. :D
