i really hate Graffiti2 (and damn Xerox!!!)... it takes about TWO strokes for most of the used letters which makes recognition much slower... and there are cases that i need to pause after certain letters lest i want it interpreted as a different one...
all-in-all, is there a way to have Graffiti1 on a VZ/UX clie?
thanks!!!

i have four other japanese clies at the moment - TJ25, NX70V, NX80V, and the UX50, so getting the Japanese G1 is no problem for me...
what would i need to do?
thanks!!

I use tealscript on my UX and love it. You can create and tweak each letter as well as set up a shortcut like function. (Create a symbol and have it fill in words.) I can keep up taking notes in a meeting with it easily. I think there is an option to just choose G1, although I would suggest digging a little deeper.
I know that tealpoint software tends to be a bit pricey, but I can totally recommend it.
I'm using a US UX50, so I'm not sure if tealscript will run on the VZ.

i installed the trial version, and it works a-okay...
however, the default profile is a mix of both G1 and G2 - and it drives me nuts...
i was wondering if anyone out there has a G1 profile that i can use?
thanks!!!
PS: the internals of the VZ are almost similar to the UX, and whatever works for the UX should more than most work on the VZ (i use my ol' UX as a guide)

Sorry, I looked and I don't have a g1 profile.
I find that with tealscript you get out of it what you put in. If you create a custom profile and go back and modify the letters that are bugging you, you will soon get a set that works for you. Also, tealscript alows alternate strokes, so you can put in a couple variations of each letter or symbol.
It is a little work, but it doesn't take long to get a profile that works for you. :)

I have G1 files that I copied over from memory stick into my nx73. Works fine for me. I think I downloaded the files from a thread on this forum.

I'm with ns6490.
I hated G2 and found a thread here that got me back to G1.
Do a search..... worked out fine on my TH; Decuma shows up, too, if you want something different.

I found and loaded G1 on my TH55 as well; works great. I can't remember where I downloaded the file and just did several searches of the forums and turned up nothing.

Good Evening-
I too "upgraded" my TH55 to use Graffitti One. If you send me a PM with your email address I will send them to you.

Just find the old Graffiti 1 libraries ("Graffiti Library" and "Graffiti Library_enUS"), copy them to a Memory Stick first, then copy them to your handheld. Reset.
Easy. If you can't find the files on an old PDA, there's this really cool thing called Google that will help... ;)
