Clié use

Browsing the Clié Forum I realized there are many uses for the Clié.
So I started wondering why you bought the Clié

I bought a PDA because I needed help remembering stuff (okay, and because I'm a geek and I love gadgets...)

I upgraded to a full screen NX because it's better for reading.

Looking at the results, I am wondering if maybe the people who are those serious productive types don't spend their time posting to message boards on the internet, lol, and consequently will not be well represented in this poll.

They used to call 'em (and still do with the inferior models like the Zire) "personal organizers." I laugh at this. First of all, many people don't know the difference between one of those Franlin organizers witha miniscule amount of memory and no os to speak of. Secondly, my NX disorganizes my life more than it organizes it, especailly when I begin to obesess over the next program to come out (full version of JackFlash is on my mind now) or when there will be another good ZLauncher skin will come out.

As a high school student, I use my NX for everything, but most often word documents. This is the only major reason I'd want a laptop at school, so a clie was sufficient (and superior in many ways).

I primarily use it to Read, smaller and easier than actual(UGH) paper books, but i also like it for MP3 and the old PalmIII stuff (address/todo/datebook). Plus, it has a clock and spends SO much time in my hand that i quit wearing a watch

My NX is used for law enforcement purposes. Thats right, the Sony has a badge of its own.
