Okay, I have searched serveral places on the net and can't find the exact answer.
I am not much of a computer tech person. (Financial Advisor).
I am currently using the Franklin Covey desktop software with my TH-55.
I would like my assistant to be able to access my calendar from his computer to do scheduling. (want to be able to see and modify the same calendar from two desktops on a network) I would think this is a pretty common use.
Only want to sync on my computer. He has his own palm running the palm desktop on his machine.
We have tried just "sharing" the folder but that does not seem to work.
BTW: I have lurked here for some time, good place for information on my TH-55.

You can do it with microsoft outlook, without worring about all the sync thing.
If he has microsoft outlook, and makes an appointment with you as the attendant, his outlook will send an email to you, and add that appointment to your calendar, and so on...
is that what you need? or there is more behind it?

You can also publish your Outlook calenar, but you need an Exchange server.

You could probally install the desktop software to a mapped drive too.

As far as I know, this can't be done without Exchange on the newer versions of Outlook. (I think Outlook 2000 was the last one Yon coned do this on without Exchange.)
I'm currently trying out a program called OsaSync with Outlook that allows calendar sharing. I've been using it for about 3 weeks & it is working well.

I thought of VNC too, but it would mean his assistant taking over his desktop rather than both being able to use thier computers as normal.
