Are there any programs that work through the cradle or a USB cable that will allow me to play before I go and pay to upgrade my network to 80211.b?

I've been thinking about getting the wireless card for my NX but I'm not sure yet. I'd like to try using some of the programs to browse, IRC, ect. before I spend THAT much money.

It seems kind of silly that the programs would be tied to a device, rather than have seperate layers for comunication, but I haven't heard of ANY programs that allow browsing from the cradle.

Yes, Softick PPP

There is a long thread on it somewhere in the NX forum.

Hmm.. I've read through the threads, downloaded the program, installed it (many times) and failed miserably to get it working.

It would be very usefull if someone who understood what this program is supposed to do would give the rest of us a step by step guide. I never figured out what this program really does so I have no idea if I ever got it setup correctly.

BTW:
Yes I did RTFM, and it wasn't very helpfull. The web site was less helpfull

Your not the only one having trouble with that app. I guess it still is in beta. It took my a couple of weeks to get it working, and then it only worked once in a while. I've used it like 4 times and now my trial is up. I don't think I'll be registering.
Oh, and sorry, I can't really give you any advice on how to get it working, I'm not really sure what I did.:(
