I just got my bellagio cover with clip for my nx70V and what a disappointment...You have to JAM it in the lower part to get the nx into the holder for one thing. You cant USE it while it's in the cover because it jiggles and rocks too much(yes, I removed the clip). You have to remove it each time you take pictures, which seems like an ordeal, because it fits in the holder so damn tight...Unless I have done everything wrong I am sending it back----anybody else having problems or is it just me.........

I have the bellagio case, and I love it! It's a little stiff at first, but use it awhile and the leather will lossen up. I've had it for a couple months now and I rarely take my clie out. It fits fine in the cradle and you just need to fold the top flap back to take pictures.

How do you work with it in the cover---it is jiggling all over the place---are you saying yours does not move while you do work with it in the case??????

I love my Bellagio. Yes, it was a little tough to get it on my Clie at first, but I haven't taken it out of the case at all since I got it.
No problem taking pictures, and the flip cover folds all the way back and clips closed now that the leather has loosened up a little.
You should send it back and get a VAJA . Bit expensive but you can beat the quality and you can order it without the belt clip so it wont wobble on a desk and you can get it in any colour and the top pops out easy to take photos and, and, and

to UBIK: thanks for the input and advice--I will try the VAJA

Got my Bellagio the other day... love it, can't complain about it. It's a tough fit at first, trying to put it in, but I haven't taken it out since. You have to "break in" the leather a little bit to be able to fold the top all the way back to use the camera, but it's doable. And you can't beat the CF/MS storage slots... it's awesome being able to store my CF modem in there.

Sorry havrsov, I too agree it's the very best, but as others have noted, it needs to break in a bit. I like the deep pouches for the MS and LAN also.
I understand the Vaja is also supposed to be good, however I have no personal experience.
I wonder though, dose the Vaja allow for sync / chagrining with the case?
Just on thing, shouldn’t the clip remain on your belt? So therefore that should not be a problem when sync / charging.

I had the same problem. It is very tight and does not fit very well, some parts of my NX stick out, plus some ports (headphone) is blocked. I forced it all the way in and it still does not fit properly. Plus on top of it the leather they use SMELLS, I mean it STINKS to high heaven. I do not mind the smell of leather but this one really smells bad for days!!!

If it smells like fish that means the leather is probably one of the finest leathers around. Products from Louis Vuitton and other high end leather items smell like a fish market. :D

I have a Bellagio too. First batch that was made to hotsync with the case on. It was a tight fit. No jiggling around. Camera works too in the case....just have to angle it right and hold the flip-top down.
Initially, the leather was tight and so was the clip. It was really hard to slip the case into the clip unless angled properly (which required me standing up)...but after a while...it pops right in. And the clip really holds on to it too. Haven't popped out from the clip yet.
Anyway, call Bellagio concerning the smell...their customer service was great! Maybe they can help you out.

I've had mine for a couple of months and have no complaints. It was initially a bit hard to put into the cradle, but that just took a little fine tuning; ditto for the headset.
I think it looks great, is practical and functional (I keep MS and WiFi in it with no problems), and is quite protective (dropped it a couple of times). Doesn't all leather kind of smell when it's new?

My Bellagio flip case is my dream case. I think if you are complaining about the clip mount, you might have been expecting something from the product that wasn't intended from the designer. But I'll say a few things in favor of the Bellagio.
1) the Hot Sync in the cradle is a dream.
2)I can access every control without removing it from the case.
3) A Long time ago, I realize my Clie NX-70 was a belt mounted device, from using the MP3 player, to its size. So I have to rave about how tasteful the black leather cover of the Belllagio sits on my belt.
4) CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! These people have been so responsive! I had a problem with the cord for my headset, they sent a new one right out. In fact, they resigned the hole for a better fit with the headset! Bellagio ROCKS!!!!!
Having said that I can also say that Brando from Hong Kong is also another customer service oriented operation.
What nit would I have with the Bellagio?
Well the clip opens to easily, and this could lead to a drop. In fact, I use the clip from Brando's NR flip cover with my current Bellagio. It works like a charm.

I have the basic Vaja case and it is awesome
(with Ultra Clip - also awesome)
The pouch that holds the NX was not that stiff... it has loosened now anyway like you would expect of leather.
IT WILL NOT CHARGE/SYNC IN THE CRADLE with the CASE ON.
*unless you buy separate cables/adapters and avoid using the cradle
You still have to fold back the case to take pictures.
If that is a problem for you, then you want a different case design.
The Ultra-Clip means it is wobbly on a table because of the little knob that sticks out the back. If that is an issue for you, don't get a clip.
But on that note, I thought it would be cool if they could make a "shoe" that would surround the clip attachment point ... like of like a wide doorstop with a groove in the middle for the clip. Basically just so you COULD use on a desk in a stable manner.
Maybe I'll make or find something to do the trick.
cheers
