 Has anyone successfully linked their UX50 to a Sprint Treo 650 via Bluetooth? If so, how did you do this? Please note: I did do a search and found no thread adressing this question. The purpose of linking the two devices, of course, would be to access the net on the larger landscape screen of the UX60. Thanks for any and all replies!

I have a Sprint PPC6601 (PocketPC Phone) that came out around the same time as the treo 650. There is another user on here by the name of "oracle_q" that has the new Sprint LG bluetooth phone. I asked a question in here if the UX50 was only compatible with GSM phones, but never got a definitive answer. Let me tell you the process by wich I paired my sprint phone and the UX50, then maybe we can compare notes to come up with a solution.

It is possible to pair the sprint phone and the UX 50. I have done this by turning on bluetooth on my Sprint phone and having the UX50 search for Local Network. If you tell it to search for, PC, Modem or Phone, it will come back and tell you that no devices can be found. Once it finds your Treo as a local network you can pair the two. I can get my UX50 to dial up the Vision connection through my sprint pocketPC phone, but then I get a timeout error on the UX50. Im dialing the #777 number with the username and password fields left blank. My phone does say that a bluetooth dial-up networking connection has been established with the UX50, but after that it disconnects after about 30 seconds. I have "time out" set to none on both devices. There are no special script commands for this connection. Im still working on this and will let you know if I can get it working. If anyone else is experiencing this problem with their UX50 and Sprint bluetooth phone, lets all post here so we can solve this. Thanks
