I know someone answered this for me, but it got lost in the data dump.:(
So, could you please answer again? Is there a modem attachment for the Clie
NR-70 (one without camera)
I had one for my Palm 505, and used Maglobe as a provider. I'd like to do the same with the new Clie...so looking for a dialup modem to attach, if there is one.
thanks again

Nope, there isn't. I think the closest you could get would be to find one of the Psion IR modems that plug into a phone line. I don't know if they still make them.
Some of us are using our cell phones to connect to the Clie. If you have a data-enabled cell phone, you might look into that.

Yeah, that was me replying the first time. And yes, they're still for sale here:

Thanks for the help. Guess I'll have to explore alternate ways.
Still love my Clie.

I wanted a modem connection for my Clie NR70V but didn't want to have to get another ISP and another monthly service charge. I found a compromise solution. I bought a cable that connects my Clie to my cell phone. SprintPCS has a free web connection number, so I set my PDA to dial that and I can get email and browse the web. It's not the fastest solution, but I only really need email so it does the job. If you are interested, I found the cable at: http://www.thesupplynet.com/
