Steve's Digicams (http://www.steves-digicams.com/) website is a teriffic place to get help with digital camera questions. He has lots of very detailed camera reviews. :)

You can also ask questions about specific camera models at StevesForums (http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/).
There are plenty of user posts to browse.

There's also, The Imaging Resource (http://www.imaging-resource.com/), a well documented site with loads of info and reviews of Many Digital Cameras.

Also we can find Megapixel.net (http://www.megapixel.net) as a very reliable site where we can find opinions and picky details about many cameras on the market, including the Discontinued ones...

Hope this helps!!!

Good Evening-

Ditto SamCat's recommendation of www.dpreview.com. Love that site. I have used it before purchasing my last three digi-cams. Go there first.

Well, there seems to be no page for my SX1 though. It is quite a decent camera, but there are a few tricks needed to improve its lighting, because you cannot control it manually!

I used dpreview.com before picking up my camera as well.

And of course, once you have a camera, head over to www.flickr.com and grab an account!

Hi, I prefer Picasa from blogger. Altough a bit more difficult to use, it offers unlimited storage and bandwith and even integrates with blogger immediately!
You can also post mutliple pictures if you know the trick behind it-just append a || to the end of each photo and omit it in the caption of the last image...

Actually, I can't believe no one has mentioned photo.net (http://www.photo.net) as a resource for camera and related reviews.

I use Picasa for keeping all of my photos straight on my Windows machine. (Anyone who hasn't heard of Picasa, think of it as an iPhoto for Windows, but many times more powerful.)

I don't quite understand how you say Picasa is better than Flickr though, as Picasa is a photo library/editing tool for Windows, an Flickr is an online photo hosting/community site. They serve completely different needs. And of course, I recommend both to anyone who shoots photos. The two really compliment each other.

If you're comparing Hello's ability to post to Blogger accounts to Flickr, you have to keep in mind that this isn't Flickr's main goal.

My friend worked for the company that made Picasa and when they got bought out by Google, he got moved over there. It's the peer-to-peer solution for photo sharing.

I have it in a box, but I never installed it on my PC. :D He gave it to me when it cost money.

Picasa lets you upload photos to blogger via the BloggerBot and its Hello service!
