FINALLY,
I can use BBVFS again. My T5 thanks Blue Nomad for the update.
Now to find that registration code....ugh.

Well, what the hell, give it a try...... I downloaded that latest BBVFS Pro, loaded it and my registration file, did a back-up and a restore on my T|T5 and the T|T5 didn't melt or grown.... seems to be working okay. The backup paused to tell me that it couldn't backup a thing or two. The restore also paused a couple of times. On my first attempt to do a restore, I had a crash. Ran it again and it worked. It seems that restore gets a little testy if you don't say "yes to all" on the first pause asking to overwrite the existing file with an older version (older by moments only). Once you respond to the first pause with "yes to all", the restore does its thing. At the end it tells you that you must reset the T|T5. I tried doing so by tapping "yes", but there was no response. So I did the reset button thing and everything was back. There MAY be a little sluggishness starting and ending applications. Then again maybe I had too much coffee today...... it needs to be noted for the record that my T|T5 has a problem with resets during the clean-up after HotSyncs, but nothing abnormal otherwise. I'm looking forward to reading about the experiences of others.......

I note that the Blue Nomad site says that BBVFS 3.07 has "preliminary support for the T|T5 and Treo 650"......

Well, I've loaded 3.07 now as well and find it a bit "iffy" too. After skimming the "read me" text I see why it is preliminary support......hmmm.
-read me text-
BackupBuddyVFS 3.07 is being released with preliminary support for the T5/Treo 650, although there are still some outstanding issues that we are continuing to investigate; specifically:
* Power Users with a (near) full device especially may experience "out of memory" errors and/or random resets; restarting the backup or restore operation will usually allow it to reach completion. This is due to issues with the new "NVFS" file system on these new devices that developers cannot currently work around. We hope that palmOne will issue a patch to fix this, and we will continue to try and find a work-around.
* Photos and Videos will not be backed up on the Treo 650/Tungsten T5.
Thanks for your support and patience. :)

I restored my T|T5 from my SD card using Palm's SD Card Backup Plus. Sure enough, the BBVFS Pro restore did slow it down. Anyway, things are back to "normal". I took BBVFS Pro off my T|T5. I think I'll wait and try BBVFS in the future.
