I've never had that problem but a solution Sony NX users had when our PDA's totally failed like yours was to disconnect the battery and leave it for a few hours then reconnect. I wouldn't advise this if you are still within warranty as it would most probably void it but alternatively you could leave your PDA to discharge completely.

I have had an equal problem with the tungsten T3-the screen was ful of little squares, and no reset did help.
In this, case, just lay it on a desk and leave it sitting for 24 hours-it will give up when the battery runs low. Then, give it a few extra hours to let it's RAM clear out.
After that, the handheld should reboot cleanly. If not->Support!

Hello

Check out what may be causing your Palm battery discharge problem.

see

http://forums.palmone.com/pe/action/forums/displaypost?postID=20129473&returnExpertiseCode=

Goto Preferences -> Security -> Autolock -> Never

Hope this sorts this out until PalmOne issue a patch. (this is a very baaaaad bug)

I think that the display cable might expand in the socket or something, and cause bits to interfere with each other.
