My wife and I spent so many late nights at my bro-in-law's place playing Tiger Woods Golf 2003 that he bought us a PSTwo and TW2004 for Christmas!
(Even boxed up the SNES to make room for the PSTwo! ;) )

It is the defacto golf game as far as I'm concerned.
In fact I had trouble finding a decent Golf game for the Game Boy Advance because of it. (Mario Golf Advance Tour is IT for GBA if you're curious.)

It IS playable online, but I haven't looked into hooking it up yet.
(Good excuse to look into a WiFi bridge!)

Anyone else hooked on Tiger Woods for PS2?

I was hooked on Arnold Palmer for the Genisis when I was younger. :)

Since you couldn't find a good golf game for your GBA, here's a good solution for the DS. Tiger Woods Golf (http://www.easports.com/games/tigerwoods2005/nds.jsp) for Nintendo DS.

played it over last weekend with my brother. I got into it pretty quickly, the learning curve was slight. In a matter of an hour, I was making eagle shots off the fairway, and kicking my bros a**! Strange how when I would aim a little away from the hole, chose a club that would normally overshoot the hole, then swing with less than 100% power, I'd get eagles off the fairway more than I would expect. But I suppose that's what makes it like Tiger Woods. It became pretty funny after a while; I'd line up a crazy random shot, and all of a sudden the controller would start pulsing, and we knew it was going in.

I still like Turbogolf for my TurboGrafx better. You could really factor in a lot of parameters, and get holes in one if you accounted for everything.
