I can connect to my DSL wirelessly, but NetFront says "incorrect network settings" and ClieMail says I have the wrong username, but it's not wrong. Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?
I uninstalled Norton Internet Security and Norton Anti-virus but still got the same results.
Any ideas?

It seems like you are only connecting to your wireless router/AP and not actually your DSL connection. Have you tried pinging the Clie from your desktop to make sure that it's connecting to your LAN? After that, I would just say to make sure your gateway info is correct so that you can access outside your LAN.

Sounds like a good idea. How do I ping it?
Thanks a lot.

I was having the exact same problem and i just turned off powersave mode and it worked. You find that option under advanced setup when you are editing your wireless lan settings.

Yeah, powersave can also really screw stuff up. i don't even know why Sony put that option there.
You can ping from your desktop by going to a command line and typing "ping insert-IP-address-here"

Thanks to both of you. It pinged okay, I guess (sent 4, received 4, 0% lost).
I tried it with powersave on and off.
What else can I try? I even moved my DSL to another computer that doesn't have Norton, and I still get "invalid network settings."

So, what exactly did you ping? Do you have your TH assigned a static IP address or is it set to automatic? If it is automatic, how did you know the IP address so that you could ping it from your PC?
Wait, what is your exact setup for connecting to the Internet? In thinking about Norton and all that. If you have a wireless router, you aren't going through your PC. Which means that you don't have to uninstall all those apps.

Oh, I'm not going through my PC? I didn't realize that. So, maybe there's a firewall built-in to my SBC-Yahoo. I know they have a "hardware firewall," whatever that is. Could it be something wrong on my TH, then?
Since you're putting a lot of thought into this (THANK YOU), I'll give you more info. I've had success off and on. I got connected without the Mobile Manager and then it stopped, so I did it with MM. Then it stopped, so I deleted the profile but kept MM with no profile and got online again -- for a while. I figured MM was unnecessary, so I deleted it and lost everything. I had Verichat and could get on that successfully until the trial period ended, even while I couldn't get on with NetFront or ClieMail. I'll download another email program and try it, but I'd rather not have to pay for something I already have.
