New "Off-Topic" topics

Thanks for the revamp. Don't know if the new topics are really off-topic in the scheme of what Palm PDAs can do these days. However, the political and religious content have no place on the board .......... regardless of what side is taken. Thanks.

i respect joel and reggie's decision to eliminate these forums. however, the reason you state here doesn't jibe with me.

if, as you say, political and religious content have no place here, shouldn't it follow that political and religious avatars, nicks and sigs be disallowed as well?
