do you know if it is possible to use a Memory Stick PRO with a NR70V?

No, only the NX, NZ and TG will be able to use the new Mem stick pro; with a patch that is.

I can live with 128, it's just over 2 hours of mp3s which isn't bad at all...

The price of the 128's will go cheaper when MS Pro is out. :):):)

Well, you could get a MS select to get up to 256 on one stick, if you don't mind taking it out and htting the switch.

I'd get that, but at the moment, too expensive compaired to getting 2 seperate 128's.

Is it ever possible for them to make the pro stick compatable with older pda's?? Why not??

Hi,

both have the same physical connectors, but the MS Pro uses a different hardware interface than the normal MS.

The normal MS has uses a serial interfacce, the MS Pro uses a parallel interface.

The parallel interface is needed because Sony want's much higher throughputs - I've seen streaming fullscreen(800x600) MPEG4 videos right from/to a MS Pro at the CeBit.
