I know that 1SRC has to have support to stay up, but is anybody else as tired of this popup as I am?

Umm, as far as I know, 1src doesn't have any pop-up ads, only banners.

Probable Causes:
-You have another window open that does have pop-up ads.
-You have some spyware, adware, and/or trojans on your machine.

Best Solutions:
-Go to www.lavasoft.com and download Adaware SE Personal. Install and update the program then do a full scan on your computer. Remove the results via Adaware.
-Run a virus scan - A pretty good free virus scanner program can be found at www.grisoft.com (AVG). Update and scan.

Aftermath:
-Get Mozilla Firefox (www.mozilla.com), it comes with a built in pop-up blocker, reduces the amount of spyware that enters your computer, has a clean interface, plenty of options, completely customizable, etc.
-Watch where you go!

I agree with TH37. You've got something bad going on somewhere . . . time to get an alternate (better) browser.

Good luck!!

Its not as much of a popup, as like an overlay add. It follows you down the screen if you scroll, and this is the only site I see it on.

You guys gotta be kidding.... only kidding.

I do run Adaware on a regular basis and it seems like the only place I get this "floater" is when I hit 1SRC. It doesn't seem to show up on the rest of the other sites I cruise regularly, so, I thought it was a site specific popup.
Do popups respond to certain sites..... I mean, do they "que" to something on specific sites.
I'll let Adaware whack my system tonight again and see what it shows.

Missed a ? on that last post.....

popups generate a new window. although floating ads can look identicle to popups if they choose to, they don't have to have a window, so they are hard to stop. the easiest way is with an adblocking extension. I use Firefox and adblock.

You guys gotta be kidding.... only kidding.

We're trying to help you, if you don't specify anything we won't know anything.

Are you running a FULL SCAN or a SMART SCAN? None of us are getting any sort of pop-up, pop-under, or "floater" so it is something on your end.

Is jesusfreak the only other one getting this?
Yeah, I guess it is a floater.
Ran both Adaware and SpyBot with updated definitions. Didn't get anything I hadn't seen before, mostly cookies.
Just saw it [it's an ad for the Fossil watch] again when I got here.

Micro$oft has a new spyware killer . . . it's in beta & free for the moment. Caught some things my 'other' spyware killer didn't . . . might be worth a shot.

Or is the situation resolved . . .

OK.... update.
YardSaleGuy gone.
Tried out the new Microsoft bugwhacker and reran my others and now he is gone.
There apparently was a file in my startup that I had left thinking it was needed for Cyberlink DVD.
It's gone and so is YardSaleGuy.
