Memory Stick is too big!

Bought myself a memory stick (blue non pro), and guess what, I had to sand it down to get into the slot. It was too big!

LOL! That's crazy! ses if that was me I would have sanded it to much. Just like in high school when I was buildin this little CO2 car and I sanded to much...you don't wanna know what happened.

The bad part, is when I put into my Vaio, I could not take it out, had to use very fine knife, screwdriver to get it out. Compared to the MS that came with my camera, it just did not look right in the quality department. Perhaps it was a fake (even though it had a official sony sticker on the packaging).

I bought a 1gb stick from compuplus. It fits perfectly in my TH-55, but seems to stick a little at the end of the slot in my TG-50. My 256, bought from CC, fits perfectly in both devices. My 1gb stick was in good looking Sandisk packaging, unopened. It really has 1gb of storage, and it seems to work fine so im not complaining. If its a fake, its a really really good fake.

I think we want pics, or a description of exactly how it was to big. Which part did you have to sand down.

Well, it was to thick at bottom top left corner (opposite the lock). Nothing major, but if you looked at the ms sideways you could see it was not level. Funny though.
