Mac OSX is unix based.
Now this good and bad;
good because it finctions well, is a beautifal interface and oh you can write scripts to do anything and also is a great networking but the bad:
It is blotted code and as far as I am concerned a step backwards-a little bit like windows going back to Dos-good for those of us who want to hack and spend a lot of time wasted on such things (seems to be a growing protion of the population and i never thought I would be one-alas here I am!!)

Now XP is blotted as well and I guess to have a lot of code no uses is now not to much of an issue with processor speed.
When windows chokes it chokes but now when Mac OSX chokes oh good night it strangles itself to death. Alway a problem with a lot of code.

XP is plug and pray but the prayer is getting answered more and more. OSX is still Apple and the prayer in some cases is getting answered less because of the code and more code does not always equal greater functionality.

Anyway lets talk and question and see where we go on this thread!

well, i see your point in some cases with winxp or windows in general being more user friendly, but if you want a system that is stable with few problems you gotta go with a unix base! if you know what you are doing in unix/linux you can to anything you want plus more compared to a win16 or win32 based system! trust me, i have! from dvd editing to autocad to writing scripts to automate basic procedures, it can all be done. windoze is for newbies, unix is for skilled geeks who can do eveything windoze does, but better since you can manipulate code. windoze based programs won't let you do to copyright laws. but it's really up to the user whether or not he or she is comfortable tweeking their system to meet their needs.laterz

What is "blotted" code? Is it drunk?

And what the heck does this have to do with the NZ-90 anyway?
