Hello,
I know the USB cable in the box of the T5 trickle charge (depending on the charge on the PC it is connected to), but: Does the USB Travel Cable do the same thing?

For reference:

And smaler image on palmone.com here:

I do not think it does, but it would be very good if it did, because then it would be usefull at work (instead of the non-existing cradle...)

Anders H.

Yes, it does!
However there is no charging indication on the palm like if when it is in the cradle, but it charges. However it charges much slower like when it is in the cradle, but it charges!
With cradle I mean the Power-Cable that comes with the T5! :)

Thanks!
But I am not sure it does, since the travel cable does not plugg into (cover) the part of the port that the powercord from the usb/hotsync cable included in the box of the T5 does.

Anders

I just can tell you, that it does! But slower than the normal power-cable.

Ok,
Thanks, in that case, then, it functions like the usb-cable in the T5 box. This is nice, as it then will trickle charge my T5 lying beside my laptop at work. And during loooooong working hours, this does give my T5 some nice procetages of more power.

My former (still got it) palm was the Vx, still, after having used it for nearly five years, it still last much longer than my new T5...

I got it (cable) today, so I will eventually find out!

Anders
