The 'wavey' lines are nothing more than shadows. The SJ33 uses a BACKLIGHT, the TG50 uses a SIDELIGHT or in this case a bottom light.
The Tungsten uses a solid light that covers the entire bottom, the TG50 uses 6 small individuaL lights. The 'wavey' lines are shadows in between the lights.
