Outlook Syncing

im having an issue with clie organiser address book.

if i uninstall clie org desktop (i dont use it) will it be ok? ie it wont mess anythng else up will it?

i want to uninstall it then install intellisync and start syncing with outlook.

anybody give me a quick rundown on this situation pls...ie the relationship between data between palm desktop + clie org desktop + outlook 2003

prob very clear but hope someone can give me quick help

You can uninstall the clie org desktop und install intellisync. I do not expect any problems. But don't uninstall the clie desktop.

uninstalled clie org - no probs
installed intellisync - ok BUT....

it only syncs 8 of approx 80-100 contacts in Outlook 2003? i have no idea why....

any ideas? dont want to have to go through every contact and re enter it.

ive installed the update of the intellisync from sony website.

You don't have any filters, do you?
Try to change the sync-preferences in intellisync configuration to export from outlook to palm.

Have you tried installing the right updates? You might have installed the US version if you have the UK version of the TH55. Here are the links:

ive used the correct update

dont know what to do other than retype all the contacts in the once only exercise, prob take an hour'ish..give me a chance to tidy them up.

nothing else works.

when i delete a contact on outlook that is NOT appearing on the th55 it askss for confirmation but there is nothing to confirm...its not categories as i checked that out.....

looks like ill get infront of the TV and start the process...ive tested a few and it works if i input a new contact on outook 2003 or agendus or palm software....so its ust these original contacts (which are all formatted correctly) that wont transfer or remain invisible for some reason....

Intellisync never worked very well for me which is why I got Pocket Mirror from www.chapura.com which has worked flawlessly from thr start.

all done & sync'd...all 180 contacts!!!!! re entered, some deleted etc...

thanks for the pocket mirror recomm. ive looked at it and ill keep and eye on it if intellisync doesnt perform as required over the next few weeks.

PM is quite expensive...

anyway, done for now and hopefully i wont have to revisit the problem - fingers crossed.

I like Key Contacts from chapura --- Very nice program, and syncs very nicely with Microsoft Outlook. I highly recommend.
