Heres a question. After reading in the video forums that variable bit rate video id possible by using an encoder that declares a constant bit rate, I wondered if it would be possible to declare a constant bit rate with audio and play vbr files. Does anyone know if this is possible, or are there different limitations with audio?

Mmm, an intriguing idea!
I have no idea 'tho - I've never seen a VBR MP3 say it's a CBR MP3 before and wouldn't have a clue how to perform such a horrid hack to the standard ;)
Someone with better knowledge of MP3 standards might know better 'tho, but I reckon it will just make AudioPlayer crash or reject the file as corrupted...

You never know, if it works with video, then it could work with audio. Someone more knowledgeable needs to post.
