Ok, so now I have bluetooth working on my T5 and I can surf the net... big deal. Surfing the net on a PDA is really an exercise of patience and frustration, or if you have unlimited time at your disposal. What I'm really interested in is file transfers. It would be great to move files back and forth from your PC to PDA without having to go to your PC and plugin. Is there a way to do this from your palm, and see the files and directories on the PC you want, or do you need some 3rd party software to do this?
thanks,
david..

I hope you have a lot of time on your hands. Transferring files between the PC and T5 will take a while (depending on file size). I have a bluetooth dongle, but I'm too scared to try. Don't have much free time.

There are a lot of method to move files between Palm and Pc via bluetooth.
I explain you 3 :
1) Do a bluetooth hotsync. This is the simple way, you don't need to connect the cable, but you must manage everything from the PC. so this is not remote and you could not install all kind of files.
2) Use WiFile (it's shareware). You can access all of your files on the PC, copy them from and to Palm and if you have PTunes (I tried with a demo versions of both programs) you can stream mp3 via bluetooth. The way you see your files is similar to the apps Files in the T5.
3) Use Win-hand (there is a free version). With this you can control remotely your PC via bluetooth. You can see almost realtime your pc desktop (stretched or divided) in you T5 and do everything you can do with a mouse and a keyboard. You can also copy files.
Bye.
