OK.... I've started many threads with new themes... with VG/SBs .... and I think it would be easier for all if I just create one thread which can be self-running. That way I don't clog up 1src with too many threads that I've created. If people have direct questions comments for me this might be a good place for them. :)
That being said...... I am getting ready (within the next couple days) to release another theme for ZLauncher.
This theme requires ZLauncher 5.10.3 (most current version at this point) to run.
I've taken into account the new graphic structures presented by ZZTechs and it has helped reduce the size of the actual file (Always a good thing on a PDA). I posted an old screen shot (quite some time ago) on this theme in a different thread but haven't posted anything else in some time. The Newest version I've come up with has changed some since my initial screen shots. It is a LAYERED METALS ZLauncher Theme. This is a theme which can compliment the Layered Metals VG/SB which comes with the ClieSkinner Program. I've created some kinda 'fun' function buttons which have already received some very positive feedback from a beta tester (wellsjs). Below here is a picture of how the ZLauncher Layered Metals Theme looks with the Layered Metals VG/SB running under the ClieSkinner Program:

It should support 320x320 without issue. The only difference between the 320x480 and the 320x320 is the background image. :)
I haven't done a 480x320 yet.... I will probably release the 320x320/320x480 version first and then make the necessary modifications to the files for UX handheld users :)

As I said earlier, Jeff, this is your best theme to date, hands down . . . a big thumbs up! :)
I agree with and like your idea of your own running thread, but then I don't own the place, so I guess it's up to Joel/Reggie! ;)

I'm working on it... have a few technical things I have to do first ...... before it is released. Hard to get enough time to complete everything needed with all the holidays... :)

There has been a little 'confusion' and I've received a few emails from kind folks (some from here on 1src as well) and thought I'd try and explain what 'EXCLUSIVE' means on my site. I'm probably not doing this right .... but I'm using the word 'exclusive to serve 2 purposes. I'll have the website updated soon to convey my thoughts I'm writing here.
1> The skin will not be sold on any other site other than my own
2> It is only accessible to Theme Members (For a finite period of time).
As the one slogan goes.... Membership does have it's "Privileges".
In my removal of skins, from the biggest website for purchases of PDA Related software, I thought it best (based on some customer's feedback received) to give those who have purchased Theme Memberships a period of time where they have a 'lock' on Newly released ZLauncher Themes. This way they get it 'first'. They have paid for their registrations and It give them the ability to obtain the theme before it is offered to the general public. The difference between the release to the members and the release to the general public will be several weeks.
For any of you who might have been somewhat confused ... my apologies to you. :)

I actually like the Simon theme as well.... Although it would seem most people didn't have much of an interest in it. It was a fun theme to produce.... just not much interest from the community on that one.
I can probably upgrade that theme to 5.10.3 graphic standards :)

I am with wellsjs on this one. I do not know why there is not much interest. One may not consider it a skin you what to have on your handheld in all professional situations (very few skins are) but it is a very well done and a fun skin to have around. Very unique, colorful, and not cluttered. One of the few themes I switch between on a T3.
As an aside, If you are willing to tell, I would be interested in knowing which ones of your themes are the most popular.

Iceman, How about a VG/statusbar suite with orientations for the three views of the new landscape utility. For what's it's worth your "Brushed Graphite" and "Chrome and Blue Glass" are my favorites of yours.

I can't seem to get the time to finish up the Framed Cutouts. The themes are done for both Sony and for Palm, as are the backgrounds (14 for each theme {7 .bmps and 7 .pdbs}). I've already got the VGs/SBs done, but have to slice them up for compiling. I haven't even had time to look at the new Landscape Program to see what kind of changes I need to make for the VGs/SBs. I don't even know any requirements about the program other than some real quick skim-reading here on 1src about the program. I saw something by Pruss about changing the VGs is easy .. but the SBs are more complex to do.
I will have to get with Pruss to see what I need to do with the VGs/SBs so they would work on both. Maybe it is simply as easy as having a VG loaded for both portrait and landscape.. and then using his proggie to select that one when you use landscape... I just dunno at this point. I wish I had more information ... and am sure there are lots who have more information about this than I do on what I need to do.
I am leaving on vacation on Thursday morning ... and my goal is to get the Framed Cutout Series (16 flavors of this theme) out before I go on vacation. I will have to work quite a bit tonight and wrap it up Wednesday night (Tuesdays are taken for family functions) to get all the themes/VGs/SBs out there for all of you wonderful members.
wellsjs likes the theme... cuzzzzzzzzz he has been testing it out for me..... that is prolly why he is gung-ho on the theme. I like it... and think it gives a kinda classy/metalic/simplistic/appealing/smooth/fluid look for a PDA... course those are my own thoughts... cuz I designed it.. LOLOLOL. Might not be the most 'fun' theme... but for me in the business world... I like it because it is fluid and flows well for me.
Anyhooooooooooooo I'll definately try and get all the Framed Cutout Themes out by Wednesday Night so long as nothing too unexpected comes up. :)

I will group the VGs/SBs together for those who have just a VG membership.... currently (I was in a rush ) I just put them in with each theme in order to get it out before I run away on vacation. :)

FYI, currently, all that is required to make a landscape skin is that the current skin be in landscape orientation, ie, just flip the buttons. This may change in the future (probably not, though if it did, I would guess pruss would make Skinner backwards compatable with older skins).

Hi Iceman, this theme really looks good; but I'm wondering if you, pruss, or leslie, could also make the vgs into a matching Dia for us Palm users? Have a great vacation.

Hi,
That would be a good idea and a good way to increase sales but there is one thing to keep in mind.
This is a commercial product so permission would be required for modifications.
Unless The Iceman was to do it.
Peace,
David

I haven't even had time to look at the new Landscape Program to see what kind of changes I need to make for the VGs/SBs.
All you need to do is to design a normal VG/SB that looks good when viewed from the side. Ideally, two versions, one where it is on the right and one where it is on the left. You don't even need the Landscape utility for testing--just load it in and turn your Clie on the side.
Since this VG is unlabeled, nothing needs to be done. But I fear it will be confusing on the side--one will have to remember which button is which. The SB is easy--just make two versions, one with the letters rotated +90 degrees and the other with the letters rotated -90 degrees.

Oh no! I wasn't expecting this to be done without the permission of the Iceman. What I was looking for is the usually collabartion between theses great minds to share and create something great as they usually do by sharing resources.
Thanks for the nod though.

I will try and put out just the VGs/SBs in their own categories this weekend... (Just got back from vacation and will see if I have the time to get them seperated out and posted to the website).

Welcome back Jeff. Now . . . I have a theory on why and where you went on vacation . . . Palmgear finally paid you all the back money they owed you, and you went to Switzerland to set up a tax evading bank account with all those millions! :D

Know what you mean! I took the family to DisneyWorld 4 years ago and it was all about the kids! You didn't have the heat and humidity that Florida in June poses either! Standing in long lines for hours is bad enough, but when you are standing there doing nothing and sweating to death, that's bad! Glad you had a nice time!!

Framed Cutout VG/SBs have been posted on the website for those able to access VG/SBs.
Most with theme memberships already have them which were in the theme files themselves. These are for those who have access to the VG/SB files individually. :)
