Hi,
I would like to track the NCAA Men's tournament on my Clie.
I heard this is available on Palm OS. Anyone can point me to a link, where I could download this?

Preferrably I am looking for freeware.

Thanks in advance....
Ryan

You NEED a computerized version this year to deal with the BYU fiasco!! But I haven't seen one yet. You could use RepliGo to download one off the web.

Now they're talking about postponing the NCAA Tournament for the war. So they can televise the war instead.

If you have Handstory, I just grabbed the image of the brackets from CBSSportsline.com. Handy for matchups, but not for actual game times.

I just got it all the NCAA stuff via an AvantGo channel - no cost

Thanks for the replies...

I forgot I have Avant go, I will try that. Thanks for the advice!!!

By the way, I couldn't justify spending $10bucks on the Palmgear version, when the alternative of the brackets on a piece of folded paper in my pocket works for free.

I'm with you there - $5 maybe, but not $10 - cuts into the BEER money!

An "easy" way to get your bracket on your Clie is to use one of the pool managers that exports to an excel spreadsheet or database and then sync the .xls or .dbf to your Docs to Go, MiniCalc, HandBase, etc. Leapys Pooll Master is a nice freeware/donationware tourny manager. www.freepoolmaster.com

I run the office pool and this lets me keep track of everyone and easily answer questions in the hallway, at staff meetings, etc.

I just right clicked on the JPG file of the brackets at YahooSports and saved it as a BMP file on my memory stick. Then, I view it with YiShow's image viewer. It works great and it's free.

I tried saving image of bracket w. Handstory but the resulting image was so small I couldn't make out the names of the teams at all. Am I doing something wrong. I am new to Handstory. Do I "copy" or "clip" to Palm. I tried both but resulting image was too small to be useful.

I only have two words to say about NCAA: Gon-Zaga!

(which is what we in Spokane, WA have done for the past few years. And by the way, it's pronounced spo-kan', not spo-kane' (long 'o', short 'a') and Gon-zag'-a ("gone" + "zag" (like zig-zag) + "a"... not "gun-zah'-ga" or "gon-zah-ga" like many sportscasters tend to say.)

...and you pronounce the name of the national champs "ken-tuh'-kee"  ;)

Ha ha!  All in fun... all in fun (I don't want to be the one that starts anything nasty here :))

hey chazz,

I went to Gone-zag-a. This year will be tough, if they get out of the first round, they will play Arizona. Id love to see that game, but I think thats as far as we can get this year. It would be a good game though to see how we stack up against a team like ARizona, which many think can win it all.
