Has anyone successfully managed to install TomTom Navigator 3 for Palm on a UX50?

I have Mapopolis Navigator 2.2 running on the UX50, but not Tom Tom. Works very well, runs in a natural landscape mode.

do you find Mapopolis extremely slow when trying to type any street names in the find box ? I find that there is a 1 second delay between each typed letter. ???

No, I have not found that at all. Depending on how many maps you have loaded, the search may take a while. Mapopolis gives guidance on directory structure to limit this, and also has a faster / optimized route builder in the latest beta version.

If you are interested, there is a decent site www.gpspassion.com with a number of forums, including ones specifically for mapopolis, which the developers from mapopolis moderate, and may be able to give you some better answers. There are also Tom Tom forums, so you can do your homework on what's best for you.

As for performance on the UX, it runs great.
