I'm think of buying TG-50, but what can one expect from the next modell (like TG-50) release from Sony

What's next? Who knows, this is Sony we're talking about. You can't predict anything they do. However, there is the probable TG75 concept which I give about a 75% chance of being the next Clie (or at least by the end of 3rd quarter)...
- Palm OS5.2
- 200mhz
- TG-series body (meaning flip-cover included)
- Hi-Res+ (320x480) screen
- Hard buttons like the TG50, possibly a slightly re-visited (but still crap) rocker
- 16mb internal memory (11mb usable; they *might* give us 15mb)
- built-in BlueTooth and MP3 player
- Around $450-$500
I am expecting that TG75 with 320 x 480 display. When do you think it will be launched ? I just sold my Palm m505 this morning. I want to join CLIE users now.

Can't quite see them putting both Hi-Res+ *and* hard buttons on a non-clamshell PDA. It would result in a *very* long form-factor. The TG50 is already almost as long as an NX.
Unless you're thinking of a Zaurus or TT like slider, which I don't think is likely (or desireable, in my opinion).
Leave off the hard buttons, and you're left with what we all hoped the TG50 would be.
The TG50 is a nice unit. It's very tempting, don't know how I would be able to resist if it was Hi-Res+ with "reasonable" battery life.

can't we all just go buy NX60's and break off the hinge? no more keyboard, no more extra bulk. really, Sony should just sell refurbished NX-series tablets...
