Help!
Anyone had this problem. Last night I depleted my battery down to 16% responding to email, reading this forum, general surfing the net, ect. and all was fine and dandy. At 16% decided to mount my NZ into it's cradle for the night and went to bed.
This morning I took the NZ off the cradle and plugged in my WiFi WL100 Lan card to check my email and IT'S DEAD!
Upon plug in the beeping sound is nowhere to be heard but when I unplug it, the familiar beep happens as normal. Tried my AmbiCom CF Modem (works), MS/CF Adapter w/ MS stick inserted (not useable but goes through the beep recognition process) and my AmbiCom CF Lan card (not useable but also goes through the beep recognition process). All CF cards give me the familiar beep upon insert and beep upon removal.
What to do? Have tried plugging in and out at lead a dozen times, reinstalled the driver a half dozen times, numerous soft resets, and finally a complete backup and a hard reset, but to no avail.
Any ideas out there? Has anyone ever experienced the WL100 card going bad? How can depleting the battery down to 16% cause this or am I missing something here?
