I hope someone can help with some step-by-step directions on how to use this combination for Bluetooth connectivity to the web. I have read quite a few posts, there is a lot of info, but I am fairly new at this and would appreciate any help with a simple, step-by-step approach to the following:

1) How to pair the v710 with the Tungsten T3 via bluetooth.

2) How to configure the Tungsten T3 to connect to the web via the v710, probably utilizing the Verizon 14.4 network (since I have not subscribed to the higher speed network and some are saying there will be a surcharge).

Thank you in advance for any help - sorry if this seems redundant but I am a novice and need a little more guidance

To cover the first half, give motorola a call, & their TechSupp can help you get the 710 to be seen by the T3. Also, for 710 stuff, see www.howardforums.com, loads of phone stuff by manufacturer & by provider.

I'm looking also, as I have T3 & just got v710 & would love to get them working together.

If you do a search in this and the Wireless forums, you'll find info on how to do everything you've asked. I use my 710 with my T3 all the time. I was using the hi-speed, but rumors are floating that VZW is starting to audit usage and pushing people to buy a "internet plan" if they see you using the higher speed side.

In a nutshell, there are no specific 710 drivers for the T3. There are no CDMA drivers period at this time. You can take a generic Bluetooth profile on your T3 and pair your 710 to it. I actually use a dial-up connection to my ISP instead of VZWs mobile plan. You can do dial-up connections with the T3 and 710, but that's pretty much it. No Bluetooth file transfer, no SMS or phone-dialer services... hopefully it will someday be remedied, but not anytime soon.
