At the present time no one has developed drivers to make these cards work on the Palm OS. I would think if it was possible it would have already happened.

Well, from what I heard some SANDISK cards work with the Tapwave Zodiac. However, for T3 and T5 you are outta luck basically...
However, try one of the Enfora Sleds maybe? Visit http://tamspalm.blogspot.com/2004/11/palmary-wlan-feast-goes-on.html for further Info about Palmary WLAN...

Yeah, that's correct...I read that drivers were created for these models but not for the T3 or T5, I should have been more specific.
Mabye there will be a hack that comes out in the future that will allow the other cards to be used, my understanding is that the hardware that palm supplies is the same as the other cards.

The hardware in the PalmOne card is identical to the v2.1 SanDisk card without memory. It is even the same card - they are both made by SyChip.
The problem is that PalmOne cards have a different device ID and that is the only device the the PalmOne drivers recognize. This is the only way PalmOne can get people to pay $129 for their card when you can get the SanDisk for about $70.

Also disappointing is that the Palm card drivers have a bug which prevents listening to streaming audio from working properly on the T3.

What, you don't want to bow to Palmone? You don't want to pay an inflated price for a Wifi SD card? Get a Zodiac, Clie or PPC!

You can find the palmOne WiFi card online for around $90.
Don't buy it from palmOne.

Hi,
what about trying to patch the driver. You would just need to change one bit(string) in the driver file to make it work with the different device ID. I am wondering why none of the TREO 650 Guys got that working yet...
