how programming launcher app?

I'am graduate student in thailand and I interesting in palm programming and I still newbies for now T_T
^^ I want to build my launcher program, but i can't find resource and/or document that can obtain some knowlege about "launcher programming" to me. If you know where that I can find,read,d/w source or who can advice me for that. please tell me.

Erm,
just list all databases in the Handheld's RAM. after this, let the user select one and launch it via the OS functions. The OnBoardC user group at Yahoo's should contain an example...
Generally, Forums have a very low developer density. Here is my personal advice:
1) read the text on asking proper Questions(always helps, no ofence intended)
2) reasd up on hacker ethics
3) read up on C-get really good with the language...
4) register in the developer mailing lists-see Google for more Info there
5) visit my blog;-P-there's technical stuff there sometimes...
