Has anyone seen the PSP's screen compared to the NX series or the VZ series?

Would be interesting to compare screen refresh and brightness. Any one in the USA buying the PSP off Ebay?

If Joel gets one by the end of this month, we can do a side-by-side comparison. We'll update you soon. ;)

Almost guaranteed that the VZ90 will blow the other 2 out of the water since its OLED. Here is a great pic courtesy of CliePet:

Hi Meir,
do you have all of these devices at home? Respect!!!
BTW, I like the Archos Screen best, the one in the middle(I think that it is the OLED one)displays the sky to right for my eyes-it looks like it is almost white!

A friend of mine picked up a VZ90 while in Japan (just came back for the holidays a couple of days ago). I gotta say the screen is AWESOME. The reason the pic looks blown out is from the photograph, not the screen. Pics will never capture the real quality of a a PDA screen.

Trust me, it's brilliant, and beats any LCD screen by a country mile or two. ;)

Hi clieler,
nice to meet a nexave user here..
Your clie seems to suffer from bad treatment ;-P All full of dust..
However, jokes aside-the screen looks really good... Much better than anything I ever saw before....

re: Archos
The Archos screen is lower resolution (320x240 IIRC). However I like the Archos unit for general movie use (easy to capture, large hard drive capacity etc). The VZ90 viewing experience is better overall (better screen, viewable at most angles, *much* longer battery life, stereo speaker builtin), but requires more work for video capture/conversion [for movies you want to watch more than once]

re: white sky photo
As mentioned, a single photo will never give all colors and brightnesses. The photos is taken with each PDA on max brightness. The VZ90 has amazing color depth, and in this case it saturated the photo (you will normally turn down the brightness)
See other photos of the VZ90 if you aren't convinced it is the best display out there.

Photos from Clie Users Club (Japanese, especially at angles): http://www.clieclub.jp/review/rev_vz90/index.html

Also in 'The Mad Dog's first photo, you can see the bright color of the screen on a rather drastic angle. Try your own PDA, or a PSP with the unit angled, and usually everything becomes a blurr when turned on an angle.

Erm, cliePet i am already convinced by Clielers/Mad Dogs Photos....
But, I am still afraid about how long such an OLED screen will last.... .
I use my IIIc for like 2 years now without serious screen degradation...
