WebPro 3.5

Look at these screenshots. That's WebPro 3.5 on my UX. It can go full screen as well as it doesn't have the 'page to large' alerts. I loaded a huge image on my NetFront 3.1 and it said 'page to large'. Did the same on the WebPro, and I had my picture. It can only go 320x320 but I used CodeDiver to extend the res. Now I'm viewing fullscreen with the exception of the statusbar but I need someway to bring the Command Bar and goto Apps anyway.

Hi, Where can I get webpro 3.5?

"You are not authorized to run this application"

Hm. I wonder whether that's related to my hotsyncname or the UX40 that I'm using. Any hints, JAmerican?

Webpro 3.0 gives the same warning but will run afterwards - also in 320x480 mode - until you actually surf the web and leave the default homepage. Then it gives the same warning and crashes.

Hm.

Damn slow though..
WebPRO is a very slow browser on my T3, it cant even render files from the SD card in high speed... . Look it up in the internet, or PM me and I shall send you the link of links...

Very interesting. I just installed netfront 3.1 the other day. And while it was nice to be able to hotmail without incident i promptly got a page too large message as i was surfing around. then i checked a web page that never worked (online airline booking) with nf 3.0 and it still didnt work with nf3.1.

I've actually never heard of webpro... but then again i dont know how to change the icons and the color in my ux50's sidebar either...

where do i find it?

I use NetFront and view pages through Skweezer (www.skweezer.net)
Very fast, formatted very well.

I find it too slow for my taste... also, I prefer the rendering choices available in NF 3... handheld, normal and mini are not enough and they are not as usable as in NF3...
By the way, how did you get that font? I can only see plain simple ux50 font....

Ok, I loaded 3.5 on my UX and reloaded CodeDiver. I set "force on in virtual silk". I loaded Google, went to full Google that you displayed above. Everything looked fine.

Running in 320x320 looked very good and was snappy in responce.

I like the PalmOne bookmarks.

Went to 1src and viewed on both NF3.1 and WP3.5, WP3.5 is much easier to read.

Now I have NF 3.0 &3.1 and WP 3.5 available to run.

Finally, I moved it to the card using PowerRun and it operates just fine and I get back the 2.9 megs. I have about 5.1 megs in memory after moving.

Maybe I should remove NF 3.1 but need to use and compare first.

NetFront 3.1 has the rendering downpacked, while WP3.5 has the design downpacked.

Wow exNewt, you must really like this browser. I think that this is your 4th/5th post on it.

Any screeenshots?

Well I have been tired of NF 3.1, and was a bit miffed to see 3.2 & 3.3 available for the PocketPC, but nothicg for the Palm at Access' site. I did a search today to find a browser that would work on an UX 50 and have all the features I need. I cross-posted to several threads where people wanted something 'better' than NF3.1

Excellent! Thanks. It works perfectly.

I'm glad to see the jog dial is now supported. I like the different views too.

Actually in regards to xiino...I disagree. Well that is unless html is supported. I have been evaluating the program and although I can see full pages and no longer have to deal with the fustrating : pages is to large messages of NF...I hate the layout! For instance....for whatever reason I cant see the user avatar and html is off and I am unable to find any means of turning it on. So aside from that "little" set back xiino "rocks"
ps I am "newbie" sorta kinda.
this forum rocks!
