My colleague's M500 broke and he wishes to buy another PalmOS PDA. He's ready to move up to a hi-res color screen and likes the extra screen space on the TT3, but he doesn't want to buy a T5 due to its price. I've looked around for TT3s at retail stores and am finding few of them. I've checked Buy.com, Staples, Office Max and Office Depot, Newegg.com, CompUsa, and Outpost.com.... I'm off to check Best Buy and Circuit City.

Can someone please post here if tthey've recently seen NIB TT3s along with the store?

TIA,

i was at fry's electronics at lunch today (baseline road, arizona), and saw a few boxes there. the price has dropped to $299.

there is also a special at compusa (not sure if it is internet only), but also for $299 and you get a sandisk 512mb included. not a shabby deal.

Last I checked (this past Saturday), there was one left at the Office Depot in Spokane Valley, WA (store# 966). Any Office Depot could have it transferred in for you if you are willing to wait a few (up to 14, depending on distance) days.

Thank you all. My colleague opted for a brand new Tungsten T2 for $199 that I came across while looking for a reasonably priced T3.

Good choice your colleague made. I recently "upgraded" my backup/secondary PDA from a Sony Clie TG50 to the Tungsten|T2. I had a T1 once upon a time, but found it to be an inferior device with its screen and memory. I love the T2, and being able to switch SD cards between my Zodiac and the T2 is awesome! BTW, I picked mine up off eBay for $176 (gently used) that included all original packaging, two cradles, extra styluses and extra discs with support software. If he hadn't already upgraded, I would've also suggested the Tapwave Zodiac. Great gaming device, awesome PDA.
