Recently I ordered a PDA from Mobile Planet. When it arrived I opened the shipping box to find the PDA box had already been opened. The equipment had been tampered with including software that was installed that wasn't put on by the factory. Has any one else had experience similar to this?

No, I haven't had that problem... If you want that all cleared do a hard reset. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought it was illegal to do that without your consent. Did you have to sign some contract or accept some deal to get the Palm? You might have a case here. Anyone know if companies are allowed to do that?

Never had a problem with Mobileplanet. Keep in mind they are a "last chance" type of company. They are ALWAYS retail-priced so always go to them last. Check out Cnet shopper and ecost and everyone else before going there.
