TJ37 - Can not see screen - too dark

I've used my Clie for about 5 days and all was well. The screen was bright and easy to read. Today, I turned it on and I can hardly see/read it.

Is there some kind of brightness that can be controlled or is the unit broken?

are you in direct sunlight or are indoors also do you have the backlight off. to adjust the brightness there is a little icon on the bottem left of the graffiti area. to turn the backlight on or off just hold down the power slider for a few seconds. hope that helps

That did the trick - holding the power slider down. Backlight is back on and all looks good.
