Hi, I just bought Medieval Heroes II for my TH55/E1. I have to say, it is a bit similar to Warring Nations, except that MHII is more interactive in the fight scenes, with better graphics and music. It plays smoothly with no lag on my TH55. Music and sound are crisp.

What I like in MHII are the fight scenes, unlike in Warring Nations, the fight scenes in MHII have bigger characters and you can control their moves and attack positions. I'll have to play it a bit longer to give you guys more details. But it got my two thumbs up. Heck, even my toes are up! :D :D :D

Here is the link if you guys want to check it out.

I have to point out that both games have very nice graphics and implimentation, but I do like the landscape pictures of WN as opposed to just color maps of MHII. Both games are simple to figure out although WN is a bit more complexed and requires more time to get used to. One thing I like about MHII is the size of the characters and the abiliity of the player to interact during fight scenes. MHII has big characters but they need to be multiplied more for better effects. I like the way they react to arrows being shot at them. And the sword fights are pleasing to watch. Something I miss in WN because the characters are very small. Another thing I like about MHII is the music, something I don't hear in WN. Unless I had checked the mute button and forgot abou it, I'll check on that too. I checked, WN don't have sound.

If you are asking which is better, they have their own strenghts, so it is hard to decide that now. But both games play well on my TH55. Both support staff are kind and responds well. So I have no problem buying both games.

If I do notice some more differences, I'll post back.

WN is currently on sale for the holidays. Close to if not 50% off. May as well get that if they're similar

The main flaw I found with Warring Nations is that you cannot control your forces in battle. I find myself playing Medieval Heroes 2 more because of the ability to control your armies. Both games are great in graphics though, and I would definitely reccomend buying warring nations at 50% off.

I have to say that another difference between WN and MH2 is the price.
$14.95 for WN and $19.95 for MH2... hmm...
Also Warring Nations has several add-on's for this moment and new one will come in January, 2005.
IMHO Warring Nations has better graphics than the MH2, exclude battle scenes...
