VZ-90 softwares to other clies ???

I suppose that here in 1src.com forum are some VZ-90 owners (even prize is BIG), so could you guys share some VZ-90 softwares to we older clie owners or is there some sites like this http://www.leggnet.com/clie/ that does share some VZ-90 softwares ?

As mentioned, there are already several threads containing pirated software from the VZ90.

In my opinion, most of them are not worth the hassle of installing. The cool features of the VZ90 are mostly in the hardware (CF slot, OLED display, amazing battery, remote control etc), not the slightly upgraded Japanese system software

Unclear :rolleyes: ? I don't thing that my question is unclear and i don't thing either that we are talking about pirate stuff.

and about your opinion, my opinion is same... however i would like to know is there any other cool softwares in VZ-90 what th55 don't have ;) .

FWIW: any non-licensed use of software is generally called "piracy". Using VZ90 software on other devices is not expressly permitted. I usually call it a "light gray" kind of piracy (ie. not explicitly legal, but not explicitly illegal - doubtful that Sony would care)

The TH55 has most of the general purpose software that is found on the VZ90 (common media apps, Organizer, etc). The brand new VZ90 software is already posted on this website (the VZ90 codecs, the Media Launcher app). The other things are either specific to the VZ90 (like CF slot driver, rotation, etc) or specific to Japanese (ATOK input, dictionary lookup, etc)

To summarize -> you aren't missing much on the software.
IMHO the only patch needed is to remove the TH55 limit on 768kbps video (ie. install the UX50 codec, the full blown VZ90 codecs are more trouble than they are worth IMHO)
IMHO2: The TH55 is a more general purpose PDA (smaller, lighter, camera), but the VZ90 is a better media player where portability is less important.

I'm currently working on one of the VZ's software to make it compatible with the UX (software-wize and language-wize) meaning, it will be in English. Stay posted to the UX forum for any updates I post. I haven't made a thread yet but will soon :D
