MP3 player on T665

Hey
the sounds under the sound utilities sound very good but when i try to play mp3's without the headset the voice is very low even if the volume is at the highest.
Is it possible to play mp3's without using headphones and still getting decent volume.

Radio Shack also has a small plastic speaker for 11.95. It and the $20. one mentioned above are fine.

Also, you can edit each sound file to a higher volume and get reasonable performance from the 665 internal speaker. I did it with one song. It is okay, not as good as an external speaker, but okay.

Do you have a case? Remove it. Put the clie down on a hard surface and play the MP3. It will sound louder since the sound waves bounce off the hard surface. . . like a kitchen counter or desk at work.

Thats all you can do my friend. ;)

I use my computer speakers at work that are powered and can put right into my headphone jack. Works fine and did it when I took my wife away for the weekend on a romantic getaway. If you want portable, then see above.

A friend of mine has one. It works well on desktops and glass, turning them into speakers. It's pretty cool.

I suggest that you don't overdo your use of the built-in speaker. It's better to limit their use to alarms and games.

It would be hard to replace the internal speaker if it get damaged by sound frequencies that it can't handle.

There are a lot of interfaces available from headsets to computer speakers, and even to one that will allow you to hook it up to your car stereo via a tape cassette interface. Take advantage of these.

You can always just change the skin. That is what I did. I got rid of the basic one and saved the metal one. I wish there were other skins available. Does anyone know if there are more out there?
