I don't know, no one has mentioned it, other than wanting it.
If you want it bad enough, I suppose you could buy the NZ90...

you can buy the picsel viewer for $800. it comes with a free NZ90. that is the only way you can get it because the company doesn't do retail.

I do not want it that bad! But, the reason for wanting it is to view excel files. I have a mac, does docs to go work with the mac?
I think they would sell a hell of a lot of units of it. Seeing as it is 'free' with the NZ, could someone copy it off thier rom/ram and email it to me :D.

Sorry, it's been tried numerous times without success. Seems that Sony isn't as dumb as people think :D!

Is it just a matter of time, or is it impossible?

QuickOffice does native Excel documents and it works on the NX.

Either way, it would be stealing to take software from one machine to another:(

I see what you are saying. But my post was about where to buy it. If they are not selling it, I guess the interpretation is left up to the individual. I would prefer to buy it instead of the NZ or TG50.
I installed quickoffice, now I have a question. I just put an excel document in a folder I named Excel on the memory stick. I could not get it to show up in quicksheet, what gives? Do I need to put it into another folder?
If it is available commercially and we take a free copy then its stealing, if we copy it of something that came free with something and it is not available elsewhere it is called being intelligent to combant the software developers stupidity :p
Anyone know why it cant be done? What about with something like filez?

NoSpleen, You need to put it in a folder named QuickOffice under the Programs folder on your memory stick :)

Well, it's going to be for sale soon. As you might have read on the front page of ClieSource, it's for sale in Japan right now for about $35.

I think if you have to buy something, check out RepliGo. It's not a native reader, but you can compress files more and it looks like it reads files natively on screen.

Ive managed to load the nz version on my nx60, works very well (interesting UI i might add). There is a thread telling you how to do this here: http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8568
Ive also loaded the mp3 compatable flash player off the tg (carefull, if you put it in ram its stuck there untill hardreset). might have to do a little searching through thouse forums to find the site for download though. pm me if you have any ?'s.
