I have a 256M in my 70 now. Is there any reason why a 1G wouldn't work instead?

I read somewhere that someone had a 2.2GB CF HD running on their NX without any problems, other than heat. I'm not sure which NX it was, but you might want to do a search for that. If someone has a 2.2GB CF working, you should be fine with a 1GB.

any cf storage card should work. Anything bigger than 2G will be seen as a 2G card. I currently use a 1G card (ibm microdrive) without any problems.

I've been using my Viking 1 GB card since May. No problems. Have fun...

I have a 5GB Seagate CF (model ST1) and while it's seen by my NX80V, it can only format to 672 Mb. I've heard of others running the "CFUtility" and I tried to make it work, but twice now it's really messed things up so bad that I am holding off on using it (As it is now, like some other post I read around here, mf CF card shows up as another MS icon). My only reason was to try to partion the CF Card into 1GB chunks, and use it as 5 drives - I'll get past the CFUtility problem on my own,**if** someone can tell me (in some detail - I've already thrown quite a few tools at it, with no luck !), if they have ever heard of a CF Card being partioned...
