I am loving my NX70, but I want to know:

What is the best cover for it. (leather)
Is there a good map program that supports clie (high-rez, street search etc...)
Is it possible to use access the internet using a bluetooth MS and a Bluetooth enabled cell-phone? and What phones or services allow this?

Thanks in advance.

IMHO Bellagio is the best of the lot, allows you to sync with the cover on. and at 34.95 shipping included, is one of the less expensive ones.

Vidigo might be of intrest maps and find are only a part of it

Yes you can acess via BT (BlueTooth) do not know which phone to use. However, if a wireless LAN is available, it sure does move faster with the Wifi.

for maps mapopolis is the best by far (imho). it is superfast on the nx70 and it is the only one i have found that allows you to generate point to point directions on the handheld (others make you do it on the desktop and load it into the handheld). when you add the place guides you are now just a click (or two) away from the nearest restraunt or starbucks.

mapopolis website (http://www.mapopolis.com)
:D

For maps, try mapopolis. Not fancy but gets the job done.

For case, try Bellagio. Their prices are affordable. I like the belt clip option.

IMHO.

Read the posts about cases.. They go into great detail about all of the cases available for the NX. I, Myself use the Bellagio, black, swivel clip case.. Syncs with the case on and allows you to keep the WiFi card in it. I use Rand McNally Streetfinder for maps.. Not the greatest but seems to work ok. I also recommend PowerRun to be able to run your apps from the memory stick and AcidImage for viewing pics. I also bought Splash Wallet, for the Splash photo program but I prefer Acid Image. I use ZLauncher for my skin and download virtual grafitti skins and status bars from the Clie Source skins section. Look at my other posts for info on how to install them. There are lots of posts about Skins here too. Oh Yeah, don't forget to get Bejeweled. Highly addictive game for ppl who have too much time on their hands.. (Tongue-in-Cheek)
Hope this helps!

I found many user here using powerrun to run app. in MS. However, I have install many apps. in MS and run it directly. Most of the apps run smoothly, although a bit slow. But I do not need powerrun.
Can anyone tell me the benefit of powerrun?
thank you.

Powerrun copies tha database and prefs of the program as well. Everything that uninstalling the program would delete is what powerrun moves. I think.

Bellagio is My opinion on the best case, but since Sony decided that my 5 hour old NX70v is out of warranty status, i will be sending my case back. Word of warning, Sony's Service is Horrible, great product but don't EVER have anything go wrong with it.

they don't often go wrong... that's the beauty.... I do have to say that compared to a few years back Sony service is a bit better (still not great thought as they are always right!!)

Luckily, I have never had to send my NX in for service but when I have dealt with Sony, I have had excellent customer service. They were helpful when I was initially setting up my Clie and didn't know what I was doing. I have mostly all Sony electronics in my house and I never needed to have anything serviced except a camcorder and they were quick and efficient when they worked on it. I've found that sometimes when I call ppl for service, I don't always get the sharpest pencil in the box, so I simply call back and speak to someone different. Works every time. Sony makes great products.. That's why they say " Sony is no Baloney" :-) (Just my opinion)
