View Full Version : MP3 Sound Supported In Macromedia Flash Included With TG50

Just tried it, and all of the flash movies that previously played without sound now play perfectly :) I have both the TG and the NX, and am really finding it difficult to decide -- more difficult than I anticipated. I'm going to see if I can somehow get the TG Flash onto the NX... Any suggestions on how to do this?

copy the flash program to a memory stick and try it on your NX, let me know if it works

What version is the TG50 flash player.

NX is 5.0.88.1

Dear Mashoutposse,

Could you please give me some reasons to switch from my NX to the TG50?

The TG50 is smaller, has a backlit keyboard, and has built-in Bluetooth. The NX70V has the much larger screen, a camera, and WiFi connectivity today (extra cost, however).

It's really close right now, but WiFi may turn out to be the deciding factor. I have no BT devices, and most places that I visit outside of my house have a WiFi network (parents' house, lots of cafes and restaurants in nYC, even the local car wash). I can't imagine owning another 'disconnected' PDA.

Playing my favorite Flash clips with full sound is absolutely glorious, though :D

Just use something like McFile to copy it to external media, or use OnBoard RsrcEdit to duplicate the entire resource.

did you ever try this on your NX? would be eager to grab the archive off of you or someone else if it worked - would be nice to play flash with sound on the NX =)

So Sony is going to get MP3 sound working in the Flash program... but they are not going to release it for us NX users are they? This was one of the major complaints when the NX came out, and Sony said that they were working on fixing it. Of course, they wern't working on fixing the problem for us NX users, but only future models. That really peeves me off.
