Does FastCPU by MegaSoft do any speeding up on an NR70? Should I buy it?

I upgraded from a T415 to a T665, which uses the same processor as your NR/70. While FastCPU had a dramatic effect on my 415, any difference on the 665 was indistinguishable. I have since deleted FastCPU from my 665. Resets seem to have gotten fewer. Hope this helps.

It speeds it up very slightly, but for me it caused a whole mess of resets, even a hard reset =(

so I deleted it. I am running a bunch of hacks including the notoriously unstable v3bhack. heheh

the only time I use my FastCpu is when im using my liberty Gameboy Emulator (some roms run turtle-slow w/o it) and also my AcidImage application (noticeably speeds up processing of images). Everything pretty much runs just fine.

i try to keep it no higher than 80 tho to minimize crashing..
