OK, so I used FFmpeg (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffmpeg/) from the command line to convert an avi file to an asf file, since the sample T5 movie that comes pre-installed is an asf file ... and Media player would not recognize it ... the error message says it is either too long, the wrong format or corrupted. It plays just fine on the desktop though.

Anyone know where I can find out the proper parameters/attributes for an asf file that Media player can actually play? Are there limits to what the provided Media player can handle? Am I wasting my time and should I just cough up a few bucks for MMPlayer?

I really want to do this on my Mac, not my PC using the provided utility ... though I may resort to it before long ;)
