As a long-time user of Colorizer, I'm giving Khroma a try. I notice I lose the color settings with a soft reset. I don't when using colorizer. I don't see an obvious setting in preferences. Is there a way to retain colors with Khroma?

I haven't noticed this. Are you using KhromaQC, too?

Gotta give props to Khroma, I am able to customize things way much more an it, and with KhromaQC I never lose that customization. I alos must say, love ClieSkinner Pruss, although I still haven't got around to purchasing it for all the features you get after purchasing it, and with MrNako's, or is that m8rk WinSB3 and WinVG (I don't like 2 that much, and if he were to release a version to look like WinCE, that would be nice, or release a keyboard for the VG that resembles the Windows OSK, that would be nice) and Khroma (with Appshelf) I get the full look that makes people think I have windows running on my palm

Yes, I'm using KhromaQC too. I deleted Colorizer and soft reset again . . . guess what? The Khroma colors survived the reset! I had set Colorizer to "default colors" while trying Khroma and I guess it's settings took precedence over Khroma's on a soft reset. Anyway, problem solved. Thanks Alex!

So do you think KhromaQC is better than colorizer? Why?
Curious as i use colorizer...

I 1st used colorizer but it seemed unstable on my nx70... i've used Khroma ever since and happy with it... more than anything for me it was MUCH more stable (though colorizer was fun to customize)

Curious as i use colorizer...I've been using Colorizer a couple of years with zero stability problems. I guess I'm just bored with the themes it has and Khroma has a lot more to choose from, although many are too bizarre for my tastes. Anyway, I am quite enamored with its "Tree" theme at the moment. If you want to fine-tune customize your themes/colors, Khroma is the choice, but it has so many tweaking options, it might take time to master, whereas Colorizer's customizing features are more straightforward but less elegant. That's my take on them. They both are great for what they do! ;)

Okay, great thanks for information :)
Am checking it out. After all it has themes like blood&bile http://img91.exs.cx/img91/4084/noexpression.gif

i'm using khroma and khromaQC 2.3.2 too but i notice that it doesn't seem to be able to keep the settings after using the memo pad/address book/netfront (ROM apps). can somebody tell me what i'm missing? i've set khroma to take precedence over palm's color picker.

KhromaQC lets me set up a day and a night profile, and switch between them with a single tap. In colorizer, it takes more taps...

KhromaQC also comes with more profiles, if one cares.

Colorizer, on the other hand, is smaller.

Not as many choices and not a flexible, but simpler and more reliable.

My hunch is that a combination of TealLock and BackupMan (running unattended at 4AM) is the prime cause for kicking Khroma's settings out. But "aquamyth" may be onto another reason the settings do not hold. Anyway, Colorizer is now back to my system color app of choice! ;)

Hmmm I havent had troubles with settings not being kept... but I`m using unmodifed schemes so maybe thats why ?
I use ROM apps fairly frequently ....
