I know I've red about this somewhere in the formums but i just can't find it again.
I did a hard-reset on my clie, and when i hotsync the picture with the two small kids in helmet keeps coming bakc tough I've deleted it 100's of times.
I believe it was some file on the computer i was to delete? does anyone know which?

I finally had to do a search on any and every computer I sync with, looking for the file "Boyandgirl*.*". Regardless of extension, I deleted it. Even plugged my TH up and searched the MS. Finally scrolled through the RAM and deleted it there. There must have 10 versions. I think I got them all haven't seen it since. I haven't done a hard reset though, so it might come back. Something tells me it's hard-wired in the ROM... :(

It's in the ROM. Every time you hard reset, it'll come back. I know, because I've hard reset several times in the last few weeks (been playing around) and the kids always come back.

Yup, confirmed.
Thos two dang kids, the mountain, the balloon, that bloody cliedemo flash file, and certain Freenotes, are, among other things, the files that get recreated, and as squelf says they are all hard-wired into the ROM... If only Jacksprat worked on TH55!!!!
It definitely is a copy on the computer that gets re-synchronized each time. I got the problem once and solved it deleting a "boy and girl" file from somewhere below "\Program Files\Sony Handeld\username\". Don't' remember where exactly ; you should search for boy* from there.

I think it's "boy_and_girl_JPG.pdb" in your Sony Handheld/User/Backup folder. I'm having the same problem. Hopefully this will fix it! :D

To my knowledge the pics are embedded in a Clie Organizer DB in ROM. They are there after a hard reset BEFORE YOU HOTSYNC!

Those images, besides the "reference"-cards, some sample CO-notes and the flash-demo are files, that are created in RAM on system-initialization after a hard-reset. They can (have to) be deleted from there after system startup. If you don't delete those files before doing a hot-sync, you'll even backup them - and have them recreated on the next restore via hotsync.
So always delete them immediately after a hard-reset!
There's no way to modify the system-initialization to not-create those files in RAM.
